The wedding and reception will take place at the Hotel Perła Południa, Rytro, situated at the base of a ski area in the foothills of the Beskidy Mountains.
We have reserved a block of rooms at the Perla Poludnia, for guests coming from abroad, for the 1st and 2nd of August. The rooms are simple and have balconies with valley or mountain views. Please let us know if you wish to stay here as we have a discounted rate for those days.
There will be a free taxi service to take everyone back home on the night of the wedding.
Things to do in the area
The Perla Poludnia hotel has a spa, gym, swimming pool, tennis and basketball courts. There is a free creche / kids club which is open from 12-9pm, and English speaking.
Rytro village is situated in wonderful countryside with lots of places to explore. There is a nearby 'rope park' called ABlandia for the adventurous.
Nowy Sacz is a quaint little town with lots of cafes, restaurants and a shopping centre.
Things to do in Poland
For those that are visiting Poland for the first time, we recommend to spend a few days in Krakow. The city centre is very modern and cosmopolitan and most people speak English. There are also day trips to popular tourist locations such as the Wieliczka salt mines and the Auschwitz museum.
As we will be travelling south for the wedding, we also recommend going to Zakopane if you have time. Zakopane is a popular resort town from where there are numerous trails up into the Tatras mountains, by cable car, horse and cart, or hiking/climbing, with many spectacular views to enjoy. It is also where we got engaged :)
